Should I use LegalZoom.com to do my living trust?

by Cindy

Question: We had living trusts done about 9 years ago (married with children). Now we want to make some changes and we were told by two attorneys that we should have new trusts done due to the types of changes we need to make. Can we create new trusts with online sites such as LegalZoom.com? Are the living trusts from these sites legal and reliable? Thanks.

Answer:

Hi Cindy -- I talk about that here:

should I do my own living trust?

The bottom line is that in my opinion, it is worth the money to pay an attorney to do it.

All the best,

Mo
