How Beneficiary Get Trustee To Distribute Assets?

by Cher
(Sonora, Ca.)

How do you get successor trustee, to transfer Title to property, that beneficiary's are not selling.
The Trust calls for outright distribution of assets.
Brother is holding on to assets, and not distributing,

all the bills have been paid it has been 10 months,
he just needs to distribute assets, and end the trust.

Trustee Could Be Waiting For Possible Creditor Claims; But...
by: Mo Johnson

Hi: It's possible that the trustee is waiting to see if any creditors come out of the woodwork before making final distributions. Whether that is necessary will depend on the terms of the trust as well as state law. If that is not a valid reason and the trustee is still stalling, it may be necessary ultimately to go to court to force a distribution.

Of course, I would first have a lawyer send a letter to the trustee to try to get the trustee to make a distribution or find out what the hold up is, before actually spending a lot of money on a lawsuit.
