Co-trustee force to sale

My brother and I are co-trustees of a house my dad left us. I have been living here for 4 years. I have spent about $20,000 in repairs to the house, and have giving my brother $65,000 in cash in those 4 years. I have lost my job and am no longer able to pay him. He has the trust doc. and will not show them to me.

He wants to sell the property now, but i do not know what my dad wrote in the trust, i.e. who owns or has to move from the house. Does my brother have the right to sell the house without my consent?

Editor's Note:

It's impossible to know that without seeing the trust document and who has what powers. But, if you are co-trustee with him, you certainly should have a copy of the trust document. Ask him to give you a copy. If he won't, you will need to discuss the matter with a local probate attorney.
